Mongolian blueberry powder FAQ

Short answers about the fruit, the powder, and how an order reaches you in the United States.

What is Mongolian blueberry powder?

Wild Harvest Mongolian blueberry powder is freeze-dried wild blueberries, hand-picked in the forests of northern Mongolia and milled to a vivid powder. One ingredient: the fruit. No fillers, no added sugar, non-GMO, 100% organic.

How is this different from regular blueberry powder?

Most blueberry powders use cultivated highbush fruit — large, watered berries grown for sweetness and size. Ours is wild Mongolian blueberry: never farmed, smaller, darker, and freeze-dried whole. You get the fruit’s sharper taste, not a sweetened mix.

The nutritional difference sits in that size. Wild berries have more skin relative to flesh. Anthocyanins — the pigments that make a blueberry blue, and the main antioxidants in the fruit — live in the skin. So a gram of wild Mongolian blueberry is typically denser in those antioxidants than a gram of plump farmed fruit.

The same fruit still carries the vitamins blueberries are known for, especially vitamin C, vitamin K, and manganese. Freeze-drying removes water without cooking, so those compounds are concentrated into the powder instead of being diluted or heated away. This is food, not a medicine or a tested supplement claim — harvests vary — but the comparison to regular highbush powder is the berry itself: more skin, less water, deeper color.

Are Mongolian blueberries higher in antioxidants and vitamins?

Compared with regular cultivated blueberries, wild Mongolian blueberries are usually richer in antioxidants per gram because they are small and skin-heavy. Anthocyanins and other polyphenols are what give the powder its deep violet and its bite.

Vitamins follow the fruit: vitamin C, vitamin K, and manganese are the ones blueberries are known for. Removing the water through freeze-drying packs that into a teaspoon. We do not print lab numbers we have not measured on this harvest, and the powder is not meant to treat or prevent disease — it is concentrated wild fruit.

How do I use wild blueberry powder?

The simplest way is a glass of cold water: a rounded teaspoon stirred in makes a vivid juice — extremely effective, and you taste the fruit with nothing in the way. It also folds into smoothies, yogurt, oatmeal, muffins, frostings, and lemonade. One 4.2 oz (119 g) pouch is about 20 servings.

Do you ship Mongolian blueberry powder to the United States?

Yes. We ship only within the United States. Orders of $50 or more include free standard shipping; under $50 a flat rate applies at checkout. Two or more pouches are $25 each, so two pouches are $50 and ship free, while a single pouch pays the flat rate — the bag shows this before you pay. We pack in 1–2 business days, then 2–5 business days in US transit.

Is the powder sweetened or mixed with maltodextrin?

No. There is no maltodextrin, flavoring, or added sugar. The powder is freeze-dried wild blueberries — nothing else.

Can I return a pouch?

Opened pouches cannot be returned for a change of mind because this is food. If a shipment arrives damaged, incomplete, or wrong, email us within 7 days of delivery for a replacement or refund.

How much is a serving, and how should I store the pouch?

One serving is about a rounded teaspoon. A 4.2 oz (119 g) pouch is about 20 servings, so most people get roughly three weeks of a daily glass or bowl from one pouch. Keep the pouch closed in a cool, dry place, away from steam — a dry cupboard is all it asks for. For the best flavor and color, enjoy it within 24 months of packing.

How do I contact you about an order?

Email info@wildharvestmongolia.com, or use the Contact page on this site. Include your order number and the email you used at checkout so we can find your order quickly. For a damaged or wrong shipment, a photo helps us replace or refund it.

Can I subscribe, and how does it work?

Yes — Subscribe & Save takes 15% off every delivery ($24.65 a pouch instead of $29) with free shipping. Choose delivery every 3, 4, or 6 weeks on the product page.
