The fruit
What Mongolian blueberry powder is
Mongolian blueberries grow wild in the forests of northern Mongolia — typically bog blueberry, never planted in rows. Local pickers hand-harvest them at peak ripeness, and we freeze-dry the whole fruit and mill it. The powder is one ingredient: concentrated wild berry, not a sweetened blend or extract.
That sharper taste and deep violet come from the same place: more skin, less water. Wild Mongolian blueberries are typically denser in anthocyanins — the antioxidants in the skin — than large farmed highbush fruit, and they still carry vitamin C, vitamin K, and manganese. Read more in What are Mongolian blueberries? and About Wild Harvest.
An honest note on the numbers: we do not print lab values we have not measured on this harvest. Harvests vary, and this is food — not a medicine or a promise to treat or prevent disease. What we can promise is the ingredient list: wild blueberries, nothing else. See the FAQ for the longer answer.
In the kitchen
How to use it
Morning glass
A rounded teaspoon in a glass of cold water — a sharp, violet juice, and the most direct way to drink it. Or fold the same spoon into a smoothie.
Yogurt & oats
Stir through thick yogurt or warm porridge. The powder blooms into a deep violet and a clean, wild-berry finish.
Bake & share
Fold into muffins, frostings, or a simple lemonade. One pouch is twenty servings of concentrated fruit.
